On Monday 29th October, Year 1 are launching their new Superheroes topic. Children will take part in a Superhero Hunt and will explore how superheroes move. To bring the day to life, please send your child into school wearing a superhero costume. If you do not have one, maybe you could invent your own superhero and make one (eg bin liner capes, decorate old clothes). Children are also allowed to bring in their favourite superhero toy for this topic. We would appreciate any comics too or other items relating to our topic to encourage the children's learning.
